L'Olivier Wine & Olive Estate is located in the picturesque
Stellenbosch area. The estate produces wine grapes (22ha)
and olives (15ha). (Luxury accommodation is also provided.)

VITICULTURIST (MANAGER)
STELLENBOSCH

This is an ideal opportunity for a young and dynamic person with an appropriate Agricultural qualification and at least 5 years’ experience in the production of wine grapes (and olives).

The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of production which include:

• planning of production activities
• budget and cost management
• cultivation practices
• crop protection
• liaison with cellars (to which grapes are supplied)
• personnel management
• administration and record keeping

The successful applicant will be expected to reside in the Stellenbosch area (near the farm). Sound knowledge of all aspects of viticulture (and olive farming), thorough planning and coordination skills, together with excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy, are required.

A market-related remuneration package, in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
