A client based in Parktown is looking for a VP: Data Office / Data, MI, BI and Analytics.
To lead the data office strategy, while engaging with the wider group to ensure big data capability strategy is enhanced.
Guide, enhance the skill set and develop the data office team.
Deliver on all reporting and analytics initiatives, using a wide variety of tools.
Looking for a leader, with extensive experience in the data environment.
The successful participant will head up the data office and will be responsible for Data, MI, BI and analytics.
A data driven organization, with many Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Robotics solutions delivering business value. The business has a large digital appetite, and the successful candidate would also be required to be involved in digital strategy.
Requirements for the initial interview:
Candidates to prepare a 15 minute presentation that would outline the future of data analytics, BI and reporting that would enable data-driven-decision making.
Over the last year the Data Analytics team have developed a number of Artificial Intelligence solutions across the short-term insurance business across pricing, claims optimisation, leads optimisation and automated decision making. The team also has a strong analytics component where data is conveyed in interesting ways to facilitate data driven decision making. For the next year the company has embarked on a number of deep learning AI projects that they plan to implement.
