Warehouse Controller – East London
Our Client is a leading food manufacturer with a depot and warehouse based in East London.
They are looking for a Warehouse Controller who will maintain stock in store and issuing stock to pickers / checking
Main responsibilities include:
Stock Management & Admin
• Damaged and expired stock control
• Warehouse rotation – manage lot numbers and locations
• Returns management - check and record all stock
• Transfer stock to correct locations
• Monitor all non-picking locations and maintain a healthy in -transit report
Picking and Receiving
• Follow the correct receiving process and investigate discrepancies with the supplying branch
• Check stock received & picked are correct: all codes, qualities and lot numbers correspond with invoices
Invoicing and Route Planning
• Daily Route planning for deliveries
• Ensure all delivery methods correct and invoicing done according to SOP037 – Update Daily Volumes
• Submit a daily floor report
Stock Counts
• Cycle counts (stock availability) & Stock Takes
• Weekly basis given a report of stock in store and stock is checked and reported on according to the list
• Check Variances and line item discrepancies
Health & Safety
Warehouse Management
• Ensure warehouse staff performs daily duties as required and that all work for the day is completed. Management of warehouse staff

To qualify, you will need at least 3 years’ experience working as a warehouse controller, preferably within an FMCG/manufacturing environment. A relevant tertiary qualification will count in your favour.
