Warehouse & Distribution Manager

A leading FMCG giant is looking for a Warehouse & Distribution Manager with extensive FMCG / food industry experience

This role focusses on the inbound division of the warehousing, planning and inventory optimization. Become a leader within the company through dedication and development within the organisation. Salary will be negotiated during interview, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure optimal inbound logistics of short shelf life products, working in a cross-functional role to ensure open communication and visibility between the various business units
• Optimize stock levels, on time delivery from suppliers and reduce day stock count counts
• Manage and develop warehouse staff looking at operational excellence and efficient use of SAP system

Requirements:
• BCom (Logistics / Supply Chain)
• 3 - 5 years' experience within inbound logistics
• FMCG / food industry experience
• Advanced Excel and SAP
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
