RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced WAREHOUSE & DISTRIBUTION MANAGER for a well-established national company – position based in the Hammarsdale area, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Driver’s license is required.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Person must be able to read, write and speak English.
3 year Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Supply Chain Logistics and a Degree or Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering is highly recommended.
Extensive experience (10 years) in supply chain, 5 years of which must be in a chemical industry with 5 years at a management level would be a distinct advantage.
Manage the Inbound and Outbound functions.
Manage Transportation and Freight services.
Manage and improve distribution function to ensure optimum service levels to customers in a cost-effective manner.
Effective and efficient Management of Finished Goods, raw materials, PFRs and packaging Working with the Raw Material & Packaging Manager to ensure effective management of key warehouse equipment.
Leading, directing and managing the outbound team.
Maintaining and improving SHEQ performance within the department.
Managing and implementing Continuous Improvements and Projects.
