WAREHOUSE MANAGER, GARANKUWA, R28 – 35 000
QUAL IN SUPPLY CHAIN / LOGISITICS + EXP 5 YEARS IN MANUFACUTURING/AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY + EXP BAAN & SAP + ERP PROCESSES + ISO DOCUMENTATION .

The main functions will include, but is not limited to:
• Materials management which includes :
• Receiving & inspection of materials (stock & non stock items)
• Warehousing :
• Binning (put away)
• Picking
• Outbound control
• Issuing
• Stock control
• Obsolescence control
• Scrap management
• Housekeeping
• Reporting (verbal & in writing)

• Systems management which includes :
• ERP process (flow & requirements)
• ISO documentation
• Regulations : Fire/Health/Safety/Hazardous

• Material handling & Equipment management
• Layout improvement
• Optimize material handling/movement
• Delivery vehicles and forklifts
• People management which includes ability in :
• Recruitment
• Training
• Discipline
• Duty/task allocation:
• Priority control
• Reporting (verbal & in writing)
• Inter departmental communication

Experience and Knowledge:
• Must have at least 8 years experience in warehouse/logistics environment
• Must have at least 3 years of general management experience
• High level knowledge of store keeping and stock control
• Experience in managing & control of a staff complement of +/- 20 employees
• Experience of material flow in a typical factory

General:
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to understand supply chain processes
• Good Industrial Relations
• Ability to speak, read and write English and/or Afrikaans
• Good communicator at all levels in the organisation;

Salary - Basic:+- R28’000 – R35’000
Tertiary qualification in Warehousing and or Supply Chain or any other relevant qualification
Computer Literacy: Stock control principles on a ERP system (i.e. BAAN), Word Excell and email
