RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced WAREHOUSE MANAGER / BUYER for a large national concern – position based in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Graduate with more than 5 years’ minimum warehouse management experience gained in an FMCG environment.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Person must be very competent on MS Excel.
SAP experience a strong advantage.
Previous procurement experience and interaction with suppliers is ESSENTIAL.
A registration with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) at level four and above would be extremely advantageous.
Strong staff management skills (will be managing 25 – 30 staff).
Strong project management skills, as well as commercial and financial capabilities.
Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including issuing and receiving. Responsible for ensuring the timely flow of all raw materials and ingredients throughout the company, interacting closely with Quality Assurance and Production to ensure that all required materials are available for production in a timely manner and in sufficient quantity to avoid production delays.
Overseeing the ordering of raw materials (includes packaging) and ingredients. Procurement (buying) of raw materials and ingredients.
Sole responsibility for price and rebate negotiations related to these.
Stock control within Stores.
SHE in the Stores Department.
Maintaining the required hygiene standards in Stores.
