A long well established Natural Stone Company is seeking to employ a Warehouse Manager / Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS;
-3-5 years’ experience of running a Warehouse successfully
-Someone who will go the extra mile and be proactive
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Own transport and valid driver’s license
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Highly disciplined and self- motivated
-Inventory management experience preferable
-Ms Office proficient
-Minimum qualification – Diploma in Warehouse / Logistics would be an advantage

JOB OVERVIEW;
-Manage the overall operations of the warehouse. This implies distribution and inventory management.
-The position reports directly to the Director and Regional Manager
-To manage the operations of the warehouse & provide a support service to the business in order to increase efficiency & decrease financial loss.
Duties, but are not limited to;
-Managing of Warehouse team
-Receiving and dispatching of stock (physically & capturing on system)
-Conducting cycle counts and stock take
-Monitoring space and tracking stock levels
-Identifying and recording of damaged stock
-Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
-Manager stock control and reconciliation
-Fleet Management
-Training, coaching and motivating employees
-Assist with logistics planning
-Develop and implement standard operating procedures
Responsibilities, but are not limited to;
-Executing and controlling all activities relating to the effective, efficient and accurate controlling of stock and warehouse staff
-Manage the accurate receiving of stock and distribution within the warehouse
-Manage the accurate Dispatching of Stock
-Ensure the company assets are correctly maintained, serviced and controlled
-Manage all duties and tasks relating to the picking, packing and checking of orders, ensuring efficient and accurate picking, packing & checking
-Implement and manage daily/weekly cycle counts
-Implement and manage minimum of 4 stock takes per annum
-Manage processes to ensure minimum stock variances
-Working with Regional Manager to draft and keep duty roster up to date
-Ensure all company vehicles and or assets are correctly maintained, serviced and controlled
-Control fuel consumption of vehicles
-Customer service levels for collection and delivery orders are maintained
-Control and ensure that all PODs are received and scanned
-Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
-Reports need to be kept up to date
-Stores maintenance to be kept up to standard
-Picking area to be improved speedily and so the service in the area
-Effective leadership to ensure that team leaders improve in their areas
-Improve to effectively solve problems
