Imperial Cold Logistics Cape Town is offering an opportunity for an individual who would like to take up the role as a Warehouse Manager. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the transport, logistics and warehouse industry and must have experience in SAP.

Remuneration structure :
- Market-related salary
- Performance based bonus (criteria to be met)

Key Responsibilities
• Utilise warehouse space and other resources optimally
• Responsible for inbound and outbound processes, machinery and equipment
• Ability to manage, develop staff and manage the discipline in the workplace
• Monitor overtime levels in the workplace
• Develop and implement strategic and operational activities in line with budget
• Monitor costs by analysing cost allocations, identifying discrepancies and implementing cost saving strategies
• Compile annual budgets in conjunction with Depot Manager
• Management of relevant stock control processes and ensure daily cycle counts
• Manage customer relationships and ensure service levels are maintained in accordance with SLA
• Ensure legal compliance within the warehouse in terms of Health and Safety and Risk Management
• Conduct accident/incident investigations
• Identify remedial actions to improve safety in the warehouse
• Accurate maintenance of administration

Requirements
• Relevant tertiary diploma in Logistics or similar / higher
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Managerial role within warehousing. Supply chain / logistics or FMCG background advantageous
• Budgeting and costing principles
• Sound knowledge of inbound, outbound and stock handling processes
• Sound knowledge of SAP and computer literacy essential
• Problem solving and analytical ability is essential
• Must be able to work extended hours including weekends, public holidays and must have own transport
