Requirements:
Grade 12 – essential
Warehousing Diploma/Certificate
Minimum experience of 3-5 years warehouse supervision – essential
Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word – essential
Ability to solve mathematical problems – essential
Bulk storage experience - advantages
Responsibilities:
Receiving and dispatching of goods according to Company policy and agreed standards
Ensuring the correctness of incoming and outgoing good with regards to: Quality, Quantity, Packaging, Product and Price
Ensures that the incoming goods are correctly placed in allocated/designated areas
Plan the activities of the warehouse in order to optimise work flow and ensure that it is up to the best standard
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts, ensuring that the counts are done accurately and sent by the relevant date
Complete Sales order confirmation on SAGE with regard to confirming dispatch
Manage the loading and unloading utilising crane and/or forklift, ensuring that care is taken and that bags are not broken in the process
Monitoring and setting aside storage space
Obtaining quotes for all required stock and facility items
Placing of orders on the system and communicating them to the relevant suppliers
Follow-up and reporting of late deliveries for both customers and suppliers related to the warehouse
Monitor and report on stock levels
Monitor and report on stock movement
