A well-established National Retail Market leader in automotive/parts sector with the Head Office based in Linbro Park area is seeking an experienced person, with great supervisory skills that is customer focused, can lead and has attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Grade 12/Matric certificate with a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management & Logistics advantageous.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience in WMS essential
• Have excel and Word skills for reporting purposes

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervision of the receiving of materials, processing of documents and efficient put-away/binning
• Hourly tracking of relevant KPI metrics to support the overall productivity of the Distribution Centre (DC) and the detailed investigation of missed targets and discrepancies.
• Working closely with local suppliers to ensure OTIF (On time in Full) deliveries and to ensure timely resolution of rejected inventory/ consignments.
• Responsible for the handling and effective control of all pallets and other dunnage within the area of responsibility. Staff management
• Ensure that general housekeeping (5S) levels are maintained at optimum levels, whilst promoting a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular audits of the area to ensure that no materials are located in incorrect areas or misplaced.
• Staff management – discipline, mentoring, coaching
• Query resolution internally(Shipping and sales) and externally with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely resolution and SLA adherence
• Real-time and daily operational feedback to manager
