Description
An international automotive organisation is seeking a Warranty Manager.

Skills Required
• At least 2 years experience as a warranty administrator in an automotive environment.
• Management and or supervisory experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial vehicle parts and systems.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to deal effectively with factory or distributor representative.
• Proficient computer skills strongly recommended.
• Strong record of current submission time, through put and warranty index.
• Team-orientated, posts credits received for payment of warranty claims.
• Maintains warranty parts for scrapping or refund in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
• Files warranty documentation and maintain records as necessary.
• Maintains CRM at or above company standards. Competencies
• Effectively manage a team of warranty administrators.
• Know and follow all documentation and record keeping requirements.
• Proficient skills required in following areas: Problem solving and analysis, verbal and written communications, organization and time management, and leadership.
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computer and in the following software programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Commercial Vehicle Product Knowledge.
• Integrity.
• Team player and achievement driven.
• Appropriate language skills.

Additional
• Manages daily warranty processes while conducting audits and dealer and branch evaluations as required.
• Maintains an open line of communication, with the appropriate branches and independent dealers to ensure that all warranty policies and procedures are complied with and in line with current business practices.
• Monitor all warranty function, including warranty related parts returns with the branches and independent dealer network and the manufacturing facility, ensuring a timely (15 days and less where possible) turnaround.
• Assist the manufacturer in the development and maintenance of training and support materials for the branches and independent dealer network.
• At least 2 years experience as a warranty administrator in an automotive environment.
