WEAVING MECHANIC (QUALIFIED/ JACQUARD MACHINES), CAPE TOWN, RNEG + BEN
• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• ±2 years weaving/loom operating experience.
• At least 5 years of loom tuning experience.
• Previous experience on working with machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience n Jacquard maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to learn from a machine instruction manuals.
• Technically minded.
• Shift work
• Good eyesight.
• Able to lift 20kg +
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• To ensure that all looms/Jacquards in the designated area are repaired and maintained.
• Maintaining optimum loom performance.
• Repairing and fixing of all mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Replacing faulty equipment and components.
• Improving efficiencies on bad running looms.
• Perform preventive Maintenance on looms and Jacquards.
• Overhauling weaving equipment and machinery.
• Checking equipment for faults.
• Updating maintenance records.
• Assisting the Weaving Team.
