They need someone with 1-3 years experience as a web designer with the following technologies: JQuery, HTML, XAML, CSS, WCF, WPF, etc. Be responsible for frontend design at this people and solution driven company.
Other duties:
• Maintain and improve company websites
• Understand various user journeys and customer needs in order to produce relevant low-fi wireframes that indicate the flow of the system
• Turn wireframes into on-brand user interface designs that ensure an easy, pleasant experience
• Hand code web mark-up from scratch or from existing templates
• Ensure all code is Future-Friendly
• Design and code other digital assets as required such as mailers for Marketing
• Strong conceptualisation skills
• Sketch wireframes for user/system journey
• Hand-code responsive HTML5 and CSS3
• Understand CSS pre-processors
• Excellent communication of functionality
Minimum Requirements :
• Designer course nice to have
• 1-3 years + in both design and front-end development
• Ability to design a user journey to meet specified business requirements, beginning with wireframes to indicate system and user flows
• Understand and design according to both the support and limitations of each client (e.g. web browser, mobile browser, app, etc.)
• Ability to communicate intended functionality for back-end development
• Ability to apply best practise User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) principles to all design work
• Excellent understanding of and ability to code responsive web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3
