An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer(primarily data driven Web Services) to become part of a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team in the insurance industry in the Roodepoort area.
We are looking for a skilled problem solver specialising in creating Web Services with at least 5 years of experience. Candidate should be more data driven than design driven. Strong SQL and MYSQL knowledge is required. Working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML & CSS will be critical for front-end solutions. Any additional knowledge of visual communication & other programming languages will be advantageous.
Personal skills requirements: Good work ethic, self-motivated, ability to work both individually and as part of a team. Attention to detail is essential. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English. In a nutshell we need someone to primarily develop Web Services which will use MSSQL & MySQL as databases, front-end development will also be involved but is not the core function.
