Responsibilities:

• Assist the Information Architect in conceptualizing, process flows, designing, implementing and maintaining the  online presence
• Working closely with Business and Technology you will be involved in ongoing design, HTML and JavaScript and Ajax development and CSS, new functionality and interactive promotions
• Maintenance on the many website environments
• Involvement on larger projects will be required with a focus on client service
• Experience in developing with API’s for Social Media platforms

Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ extensive website design and development
• Relevant University Degree / diplomas & training a plus    
• Relevant website degree & training

Technical Skills - Essential

• Solid understanding of user centred design
• Broad understanding of internet related technologies and standards
• Strong knowledge of website process flows, ecommerce environment, able to assist in screen flow designs
• Experience in development within a team environment
• Good knowledge of Raster/Bitmap and vector design packages:
• CS4 - CS6
• Extensive experience with Web development languages
• NB. Must be able to develop in these languages from scratch (hand-code)
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript with Ajax
• Extensive experience with web development packages
• Dreamweaver

Nice to have skills:

• JAVA / JSP understanding
• Source Control (SVN)
• jQuery
• Sass
• APIs (Social Media integration)
• Mobile application / Mobile web development experience
• Website Statistics experience (Google Analytics)
