A Web Developer is wanted for a position with a well-established company in the Durban area. The client is looking for a self-motivated candidate who is a great communicator and who is well organised and who has a GREAT personality.

Requirements:
• minimum of two to three years' experience
• Related Degree/Diploma
• The ideal candidate will be a strong WordPress
• Developer with experience in customising themes, plugins and widgets.
• Expert knowledge of WordPress (Plugin/theme development/API)
• Expertise in building responsive and scalable sites for all platforms
• Strong PHP development skills
• Strong XML HTML, jQuery, and CSS skills
• Good working experience in MySQL
• Strong experience building HTML/CSS across the major browsers
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript useful

Duties:
Create and build web solutions using general Web 2.0 techniques
Develop new and innovative web solutions where needed
Streamline and optimise all web properties to maximise speed and performance
Create search engine friendly and SEO optimised solutions
Ensure brand reputation management
Write in a variety of different styles to suit the channel
