General Responsibilities

• Design the front end of the layout of computer programming according to business specifications.
• Drafts implementation plans.

• Assist the Designer and Software Developers to achieve successful projects outcomes.
• Help create user interfaces for software, web and mobile applications.

• Web design from conceptual mock up stage to implementation in HTML and CSS.
• Contribute to the design of the methodology and templates.

• Creates and maintains code that meets design specifications, follows standards, is easy to maintain and is reasonably free from defects

• Provides maintenance, improvement and production support for existing applications

• Participates in design sessions to understand the business requirement and solution to be delivered

• Works with Testing team to ensure that the project is accurately tested

• Effective web development

• Effective trouble shooting



Web Development
• Design of new web pages with forms

• Analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving intranet and internet page problems

• Create and maintain tracking mechanisms for all links

• Maintain and report web statistics

• Testing and quality assurance

• Backend database integration with website

• Understanding of customer partner sites and associated CMS systems where necessary.

Product Development
• Designing and maintaining both new and existing web applications

• Preparing technical documentation of products and source code, both internally and externally.

Requirements
• Matric, Relevant Degree or Diploma
• .Net Development experience
• Web Development
• C# (ASP.Net & MVC)
• JavaScript
• CSS
• HTML
• ASP/VB script, XML, XSL, Visual Basic
• Familiarity with Development Lifecycle
• SQL Server Database 2000.
• Web Server Administration
• Graphic Design (Photoshop or PhotoImpact).
• Experience with XML 1 -5 years experience within a similar position
