WEB DEVELOPER
The above position is currently available in Sun IT based at head office and reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager. 
Main Purpose of the Job:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing a high quality web development service to internal teams including Gaming Marketing, Resorts Marketing and Corporate Services. Ensures that websites are attractive to the target users, contain all required features and comprise local navigation systems, strong functionality and optimisation.
Education, experience and competencies required: 
Matric plus 3-year Computer Science/ IT related degree;3+ years relevant experience in web development using CSS and HTML;3+ years’ experience in ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio.Net;Strong proficiency in SharePoint development is essential;Experience working with SharePoint 2010Experience in SQLCompetent user of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop)Front end design experience preferableExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to prioritise, meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure. Initiative and ability to work on one’s own when requiredDuties and responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining company external websites and intranet in line with company branding and web standards. Establishing and understanding brief from internal customers in order to meet web requirements and ensure fast turnaround timeMaintaining good relationship with graphics vendor on the design and development of company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality. Meeting deadlines and service standards. Communicating and enforcing coding standards. Ensuring sites are tested for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions to ensure maximum visibility and access to the website.
