Main purpose of the job
The Web Solutions Specialist / Web Product Analyst is a specialist with an indepth understanding of the digital environment and the bank’s WCM (Web Content Management) and Community platforms. The incumbent is responsible for the content solution on the bank’s websites and community platforms.

Key responsibilities
Solution Development: ?
Engages business to understand the requirements ?
Analyses the requirements ?
Facilitates the solution design sessions ?
Evaluates alternatives for the solution and recommends best approach ?
Documents requirements / solution / wireframes ?
Engages with the UX and technical teams to align designs to architectural frameworks and feasibility ?
Prioritises the build of features and functionality ?
Defines the Information Architecture / site structure / content requirements ?
Drives and provides guidelines around the content management processes, content sharing strategy ?
Undertakes and co-ordinates testing and signoff of all templates and development ?
Drives the production and signoff of training material Plans, estimates, co-ordinates and delivers milestones and tasks

Product Management ?
Defines and manages user roles, access and workflow ?
Is the WCM and Community product specialist in the team, developing a comprehensive and indepth knowledge of the system functionality and how it is used on the bank’s digital presence ?
Drives WCM and Community product enhancements to meet business and user needs and assist in driving product direction ?
Responsible for strategising, planning and managing how content is stored, managed, displayed, edited, authorised, shared and published across multiple sites and channels (web, mobile, transactional systems etc ...). ?
Keeps abreast of all WEM product releases and co-ordinates communication and required training ?
Defines and manages search requirements and configuration
Facilitates problem solving and troubleshooting

Stakeholder Management ?
Identifies and builds strong relationships with the business (Digital teams) and Engineering teams ?
Performs an interface role between the business and engineering team ?
Builds strong partnerships / relationships with external / 3rd party stakeholders / vendors

Training and communication ?
Shares their knowledge, and upskills and trains other members of the web product team to undertake their roles ?
Contributes to a high performance culture in the team, sharing learnings, QA’ing development and driving best practice ?
Quality assures work undertaken by the team

Line Management
Overtime this role will grow to have a line function, which will entail ?
Managing the team of Product Co-ordinators, testers etc, attracting and retaining talent in the team. ?
Ensures relevant training and building of appropriate skills for the team. ?
Drives a high performance culture of all web development work within the team. ?
Ensures all HR practices (performance contracts, grades, appraisals, training, reward and remuneration etc) are communicated and implemented in the team. ?
Assists in motivating and generating a culture of high work ethic, superior service and co-operation and congeniality amongst the team ?
Sets up regular team meetings to discuss work request priorities, progress and challenges, to share learnings, to profile work, to discuss best practice ?
Has regular one-on-ones with all direct reports

Technical expertise and thought leadership ?
Is the WCM and Community product specialist in the team, developing a comprehensive and indepth knowledge of the system functionality and how it is used on the bank’s digital presence ?
Keeps abreast of global digital trends and development practices in the content management and digital environment

Knowledge, experience and personal competencies
Knowledge
Relevant degree in Information Systems or Computer Science ?
Solid knowledge of applications and systems and the software development life cycle and process ?
Sound knowledge of digital user experience, usability and design ?
Solid knowledge of web content management and web development systems and practices ?
Solid understanding of the digital environment, industry and trends ?
Formal business analysis / project management training an advantage ?
Good business acumen coupled with an understanding of the bank and banking products, an advantage ?
Advanced computer literacy skills

Experience ?
At least 3-5 year’s experience in a digital environment ?
Proven track record in the analysis, documentation and commercialisation of business needs and the delivery of solutions. ?
Experience using a Web Content Management application, an advantage ?
