What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Web Start-up sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Company Online Presence
* Write copy for company website
* Write copy for investor relations page
* Be primary contact for enquiries, press and initial investor contact point

* Develop Traffic Generation Blogs
* Setup a series of traffic generation blogs (Like Huffington Post)
* Write regular content for these blogs (SEO Copywriting)
* SEO Posts
* Collaborating with Link Building Company
* Make the site a whole lot of fun
* Build an online presence in our chosen consumer markets
* Run contests and give-aways
* Run tell-a-friend programs
* Create viral campaigns

* Email Newsletter
* Develop a weekly newsletter for each blog
* Build Pre-launch Customer List
* Newsletter copywriting

* App Downloads
* Create app awareness
* Drive tell-a-friend process to promote app

* Cheap Paid Traffic Methods
* Create self liquidating - traffic arbitrage pages (Like those pages you see on the web, 28 people you would never believe exist)
* Drive traffic through expired domain and pay to click campaigns

* Public Relations
* Investor orientated press releases
* Gaining exposure for what we are doing in the tech press
* Press releases for content sites

Background work experience:

* 2+ years in Web Online Marketing
* 2+ years in blogging and SEO
* Pref: BComm Marketing or Equivalent
* Access to additional training resources will be provided, but you must already know what you are doing
* Strong, clear and entertaining writer
* Setting up Blogs, Online Content Writing, Web Based PR
* Networking with other Bloggers
* Basic knowledge on how to use WordPress
* Adv: Some basic graphic design skills
* Adv: Exposure to Online Advertising and Adsense
* Adv: Exposure to web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Similar Web

Reports to: Senior Partner - But more like a collaboration than a report. We just need one captain of the ship
Location: Johannesburg, but with the intention to move to Silicon Valley (San Francisco, USA)
Role Type: Full Time or Part Time (Min 20 hrs a week)
Salary: Initially we work for love. When we have a Minimum Viable Product, then we will get investors and be able to pay ourselves some salary. When we make it big we will be able to each buy ourselves a Yacht. If the marketing is really good, we will make ourselves some extra cash in-between. i.e. You are key to making the whole thing happen.
