Wedding, Events & Marketing coordinator PretoriaConference & Meeting Hotel in Pretoria is seeking a co-ordinator to run the wedding and events department of the hotel. You will be responsible to interact closely with clients regarding planning, contracting, coordinating & invoicing all aspects of conference events & weddings.The co-ordinator will be responsible for the following:To co-ordinate all activities of wedding/event bookings and enquiries before, during and after wedding or events.To produce detailed and comprehensive functions sheets for all internal departments of the hotel as well as sub-contractorsTo obtain approvals & billing information for all expenses related activities, to control expenses within the approved budget and to prepare final invoices.To manage the event venue setupsTo propose new ideas to improve the guests experienceMarketing campaigns and advertising activities like brochure & rate sheet planning Qualifications / Experience needed as follow:Fluent in EnglishHospitality Diploma preferred with events or sales & marketing courses desirable5 years experience within the wedding and event/function environmentIn depth knowledge of the hotel industry with at least junior management experienceGood understanding of Hotel F&B & Front Office systemsExperience needed in administrative work, filling and billing of groups & conference expensesKnowledge of telesales & marketingArrange & conduct site inspections & educational toursComputer Literacy (PMS System experience beneficial)Exceptional organisational skills imperativePackage and Benefits:R8500.00
