We are looking for Boilermakers and Welders to perform the following duties:
Welders
? perform welding jobs utilizing gas or electric arc in welding metallic and composite materials together
? Oversee the installation of tank linings, valves, lead pipes, and floor
? Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions
? Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components.
? Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning with chemical solutions and wire brushes to remove impurities such as scale, rust, grease, and moisture
? Design patterns and models for a welding project using specifications contained in a blueprint
Boilermakers
• Install boilers and other large containers that house gases or liquids such as oil.
• Reading blueprints, casting pieces and bending them into shape, and welding/bolting pieces together.
• Perform routine maintenance.
Requirements
? Welding/ Boilermaker certificate or equivalent
? Able to measure accurately and make complex calculations on a welding project
? Good command of English
? Ability to operate power and hand tools in carrying out welding activities
? No criminal record
