La Motte Wine Estate in the Franschhoek Valley requires an enthusiastic person with a passion for wine-making and the ability to work within a team environment to join the Cellar Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
* co-ordination of harvest activities * the overall wine-making process * blending and stabilising of wine * liaison with wine buyers * inventory control and production administration * cellar administration and staff management * liaison in terms of wine-tasting, promotions and marketing

Applications from candidates who comply with the following are awaited:
* relevant qualification in Viticulture and Oenology * 5 years relevant experience in a similar position * experience in viticulture * excellent communication skills * strong work discipline and ability to handle pressure * ability to take ownership of work * knowledge of various quality control systems (IPW, HACCP, WIETA)
