Wireless Field Technician / Installer

The technician will be responsible for wireless Installations. This will include cable runs, crimping and configuration of equipment as well as alignment to and maintenance on high site towers.

Reports to: Field Manager

Responsibilities:

Installation and upgrades of standard and complex wireless connections including configurations of antenna kits and access points
Troubleshoot wireless installations, wireless access points and client issues from the office and on site.
Follow up on work done
Prep installation kits at the office
Assist with network maintenance and high site upgrades.

Qualification and experience:

Matric Certificate
Mikrotik and Ubiquiti experience - 2 years
Wireless Technician experience - 2 years
Medically fit & able to work at heights
Hand skills and working knowledge of hand tools
Own transport
Very well spoken
