Wireless Network Engineer:
The Wireless Network Engineer will be responsible for the operational management of the Wireless Radio Network infrastructure in accordance with relevant client, business, and security specifications and guidelines.
The Operational Management of the Network includes being responsible for the management of all areas of the Network including link quality monitoring and assurance. Furthermore, you will be tasked with the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all Wireless Networking equipment, backhaul links, and mast infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with a passion for service and strong interpersonal skills. You must be self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects without much supervision. You will be required to be available and be on standby at all hours.
Applicants are required to have three or more years’ Wireless Networking experience and must be able to work outdoors under challenging circumstances. You will also be required to work at heights, while installing or servicing equipment on top of towers, masts and or buildings.
Applicants must be South African Citizens and must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wireless link quality monitoring and assurance
- Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all Wireless Networking equipment, backhaul links and mast infrastructure
- Perform site surveys
- Design and perform Wireless sector and backhaul setup and configurations
- Document and create detailed schematics of the Network typology using MS Visio
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines including ICASA and WAPA
Technical Experience / Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a Wireless Networking environment
- Technical certification and or relevant experience working with products such as Mikrotik, Ubiquity and Deliberant
- Experience with outdoor licensed/unlicensed band equipment – PtP and PtMP
- Strong knowledge of TCIP and complex sub netting
- Working knowledge of Radius
