Position: WMS PROCESS- and INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER (EE)

Area: Cape Town / Northern Suburbs

Package: more than 1 vacancy - paying anything from R300K up to R400K CTC

We are currently recruiting for very large concerns who would like to employ candidates to assist with the WMS processes. We are recruiting for more than one WMS position; some of them are fairly junior, although experience + a completed degree is most certainly still a minimum requirement. The more senior vacancies will be more on a strategic level but all of the WMS vacancies requires experience specifically on the WMS system and exposure to the Distribution centre.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Industrial Engineering, B.Comm Supply Chain or Logistics (degree has to be completed)
• Full understanding of a WCS, the application, troubleshoot, problems
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within DC operations
• High level of proficiency with MS Office packages, specifically Excel (for Modelling)

A mix of the different jobs but this should give you a good idea of what is required from you:
• User maintenance, user access, user profiles and location maintenance
• Interface between DC Operations and WMS Vendor (Oracle for issue logging and resolution Reporting on and analysis of issue trends with
WMS Vendor)
• Responsible for testing and roll-out of proposed new functionalities and bi-annual upgrades of Oracle.
• Development of reporting and dashboards from WMS reporting database for OPS management teams
• Analyzing system logs, identifying and reporting of potential issues with all operational systems.
• Performing routine audits of systems and operational processes
• Understanding & partaking in stock sync, operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords.
• Responsible to align full operational flow across all departments with system processes
• Liaison with IT & ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
• Quality Control (QC) support for Integration of Dimensions operational assistance
• Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) on testing and validation,
• Responsible for all technical WMS understanding & internal DC processes
• Responsible for maintenance of technical training schedules in support of operational SOP’s
• Assisting in arranging data in an understandable manner to assist operations with dashboards
• Assist with facilitating of testing and roll-out of proposed new functionalities as well as bi-annual upgrades of Oracle Cloud WMS
• Development of reporting and dashboards from WMS reporting database
• Preparation of training material and responsible for training workshops on new WMS processes (Training lead)
• Administration of the WFM software – Fixing of errors, reporting, cleansing of data, keeping WMS and WFM system data in sync
• Data analysis linked to continuous system application improvement
