Wonderboom, Pretoria: QUALIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable and professional Afrikaans speaking male
-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English (First & second languages a must)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Diesel Mechanic Red Seal Qualification
-Minimum 10 years relevant diesel mechanic experience
-Experience in Toyota and Hino’s
-Valid Code 14 driver’s license with PDP
-Own reliable to transport to work (company vehicle provided during office hours)
-Sober habits, reliable and trustworthy
-Stable employment record
-Contactable references
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Repair and maintain diesel engines on Toyota and Hino’s
-Diagnoses trouble, disassembles engines, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.
-Travel to breakdowns and attend to roadside repairs
-Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
-Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules
-Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
-Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
-Troubleshooting breakdowns
-Perform minor and major repairs on trucks
Salary: R 25 000.00 – R 28 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience)
