WORKSHOP ADMIN MANAGER

We require the services of a Workshop Admin Manager to join our team in a fast paced and energetic environment.

The incumbent is responsible for the planning and organising of the workshop to maximise effective manpower utilisation and cost effective maintenance and repairs to vehicles.

The main purpose of the position is; co-ordinate, monitor and maintain companies fleet in good operating condition.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
* Matric
* Knowledge and experience in N1 Fleet Management or similar programmes
* 3-4 Years Fleet managing experience
* 4+ Years experience in managing a vehicle service and repair workshop
* Tertiary Qualification in Fleet & Logistics Management (Advantageous)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
* Computer Literacy (MS Office)
* Articulate and able to communicate on all levels – face to face and telephonically
* Budgetary control
* Planning & Organisational skills
* Ability to diagnose problems, effect correct and preventative measures
* Ability to deliver against deadlines and/or adapt and prioritise work output as and when required
* Meticulous, attention to detail and high level of accuracy

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Overall responsibility of Administration function
* Manage the vehicle department personnel function
* Manage staff workload and output
* Determine priority of work orders
* Ensure that Job Cards are issued to Workshop Supervisor on a daily basis
* Facilitate and maintain the roadworthiness of all Companies vehicles
* Responsible for the ordering, recording and monitoring of materials and parts
* Initiate requisitions for materials and parts
* Maintain adequate inventory of parts, equipment and supplies used in repairing and servicing vehicles
* Manage and maintain the vehicles by checking service levels and maintenance plans
* Ensure that a comprehensive service record of all vehicles are maintained
* Liaise with Traffic department to ensure all speeding fines are paid, submit fines to drivers
* Compile and submit reports relating to vehicle utilisation and maintenance

GENERAL:
* RSA citizen
* Valid unendorsed drivers licence
* Own transport
*Clear criminal record
* Good contactable references
* Flexible working hours – after hours, call out’s, etc.

OFFER:
* We are offering a Basic of R10 000 – R 15 000 per month, Performance Bonus
* This is negotiable based on current earnings and relative to experience.
