Established, listed Company looking to appoint a Workshop Foreman.
Matric or equv. .
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (other Artisan trade qualifications will also be accepted).
Min. 5 years working experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
Min. 1 to 2 years in a similar position.
N4 engineering field will be a strong advantage.
Duties would include:
- Assist in with ensuring Staff requirements and recruitment process are adhered to
- Conduct workshop Staff appraisals
- Identify training needs
- Conduct Staff meetings
- Conduct regular tool box checks
- Manage Staff leave, time etc.
- Ensure Customer needs are met
- Control wastages
- Sales support
- Afterhours support
- Customer service
Salary: R15k to R22k CTC.
