We at CompareGuru have been transforming our Newsroom over the last few weeks and we are looking to get some savvy writers on board! If you love writing, have a passion for research and have a great journalistic flair, we want you!

We are looking for someone who is not scared to get their hands dirty, who will follow a story and who will ask a lot of questions. We want someone who will get to the bottom of a story by setting up meetings, making phone calls and immersing themselves in the heart of the story.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for research, writing and optimization of content
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Investigative journalism flair
• Writing content that promotes brand and has a strong concise approach
• Publish content on Wordpress and work closely with the Editor and content team on the quality and angles of articles improve
• Daily publishing deadlines and taking personal responsibility for producing news to meet these deadlines
• Commitment of full time working

Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English or Journalism or similar degree
• Experience working with online content management tools is required
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Wordpress required
• A portfolio of writing will be required. Whether this be a blog or any published material, we will need to check your writing ability.
