X2 Computer Progress or Java or C++ or Other 4GL Software Programmers/ Developers- With Financial Services/or Insurance Industries Experience- Cape Town
Minimum of 10 years coding experience.
Experience in an ERP environment.
Experience in Financial Services Industry.
Should know Progress Programming.
Proficient in a web environment and know HTML.
If the candidate does not know Progress then can have strong Java, C++ or other database manipulation languages skills will be fine
Knowledge of UML design and tools would be a plus.
SQL would be a plus
Knowledge of the Insurance Industry would be advantageous
Knowledge of the Group Funeral Insurance Industry would be advantageous
Good team player
Logical and structured thinker
Someone who takes ownership (Must give examples of instances where they did so)
Can work independently (must be able to do a task from start to finish)
