A client based in Umhlanga is currently looking for an intermediate Xamarin iOS developer, with more than three years’ experience, to work on a broad range of exciting current and new projects.
If you are chosen, you will be an accountable member of a team responsible for developing world-class mobile applications using Xamarin, as well as mentoring junior developers in the team.
Essential Competencies
• C#
• Objective-C or Swift on Xcode
• Experience working as a mid-level or senior developer, having filled the primary role on a shipped iOS app developed natively
• Experience with both iPhone and iPad app development
• MVVM design pattern
• Working experience with 3rd party APIs
• Experience communicating with web services using JSON/XML
• Knowledge of system architecture as it relates to mobile apps
• In-flight teaching and mentoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Advantageous Skills
• Published and/or live app(s) on the App Store
• Understanding of the API stack
• Extensive UI Design experience
• Experience with software development on Apple Mac
• Git
