12 month renewable contract 

Develop simple interfaces in SAP PI/XI

• o Support system interfaces in SAP PI/XI
• o Manage, monitor and control all system interfaces to 3rd parties i.e. vendors and customers and other SAP and non-SAP systems
• o Monitoring of the interface related servers and databases
• o Attend to interface related incidents as and when they arise (discrepancies / queries – functional / technical)
• o Develop, test and implement the required technical solution to fulfill business requirements
• o Develop and configure monitoring tools to monitor critical business processes i.e. Host-to-Host interfaces, etc.
• o Check all interface flows for any failures, this should be on occurrence of error , daily, weekly and monthly
• o Resolve failures with third party teams when the error is originating or occurring on third party application
• o Design, test and implement new interfaces
• o Enhance, test and implement existing interfaces
• o Setup alerts for interface failures
• o Monitor performance of PI system and make recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science
• Formal SAP PI/XI certification
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PI PROXY & adapters (File, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, JMS , RFC, JDBC, Proxies)
• In-depth knowledge of the following technologies: JAVA, Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), XSLT, XML
• Good knowledge of SQL Databases: MSSQL
• Proven experience as a SAP XI/PI + ABAP Developer

Experience

• Understand system administration and configuration
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of Mobile Device Management
• Clear understanding of APNS & GCM for push notifications
• Clear understanding of network protocols including VPN, DMZ, Proxies & Reverse Proxies
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of mobile device settings including device reset, device wipe, profiles etc.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of Portal technology
• Have a clear understanding of App store management & functionalities
• Have clear understanding of policies with respect to creation, administration and enforcement
