RedCat Recruitment is seeking a mature YARD MANAGER of a well-established company in Cato Ridge.


JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet). Must be able to work on MS Excel.
Checking and reporting qualities daily.
Over the counter bag cash sales and bulk cash sales.
Security management
Ensure timeously offloading.
Order tyres and arrange for tyre changes.
Oversee tyre stock.
Update maintenance spreadsheet on the U-drive from the sheet per vehicle with date requested and date completed.
Arrange maintenance with company mechanic.
Truck cost management.
Ensure the Liehberr, Rhino and weighbridge are maintained.
Ensure drivers and operators keep their machines clean and tidy.
Ensure labelling of stock.
Ensure that the company’s siding complies with Transnet rules.
Arrange yard and driver meetings.
Give yard staff their daily duties.
Ensure that bagging staff are given their target for the day and double check that they have the stock to complete these targets.
Ensure that staff and visitors adhere to health and safety rules.
Attend Health and Safety meetings.
Arrange garden services.
General maintenance.

Salary offered: R10 000-00 per month
