Her portfolio includes the rollout of all ASD Special Projects, Implementation, Planning, Estimating, Project and Administrative Management. Functions also include inventory management, logistics and liaison, which fall under the implementation role. Prior to this position as Project Manager, Annemarie was the Project Administrator and Scheduler on Transnet NMPP, NLD and Vodacom Projects within Liquid Telecom South Africa previously called Neotel. Her thorough knowledge and growth with these projects enable her to have full grasp in terms of network deployment and maintenance, whilst leading a project team of a staff compliment of 10 employees and 40 contractors. In addition to these functions, Annemarie is also called on an adhoc basis to fill the role of Company Representation on the SANRAL project. She acquired her Diploma in Project Management whilst filling the role of project administrator and scheduler. Annemarie is also required to assist in tender application for Liquid Telecom South Africa, which often requires long working hours to tide deadlines, and hectic travelling schedules. As the Project Administrator she was awarded, Employer of the Month in June 2017, out of the total Liquid Telecom South Africa staff compliment of 1500 across all provinces in South Africa. Before joining Liquid Telecom South Africa, Annemarie was employed with Nedbank as a Dispute Analyst at the Nedbank Card Division, where she was responsible for analysing disputes on behalf of Nedbank credit cardholders to national and international merchants and banks. Her role also included chargeback merchants where transactions were not compliant with banking rules, preparation of manual General Ledgers for transfer of funds and acting as liaison between merchants and Nedbank Cardholders. Preceding her employment with Nedbank, Annemarie’s previous telecommunication experience was with CellC in the capacity of Credit Scoring Analyst. Her responsibilities included processing of cell phone application but she was quickly promoted to assist the Credit Vetting manager to handle escalations, received from the CEO’s office and she therefore was promoted as Credit Vetting Administrator to the Vetting Department. Annemarie hails from the Northern Cape and her first employer was De Beers Kimberley mines, where she was initially employed as a security trainee, in 1994 after completing her matric year. She was selected to study a fulltime 3-year Security Diploma Programme at Technicon Witwatersrand. During her 3 years of study, she was deployed at various mining operations including Gold Mines to conduct Security Risk Assessments. Upon successful completion of her Security National Diploma, she was appointed as Senior Security Intelligence. Here she acquired her ability to analyse data to information by consolidating Illicit Diamond Trafficking (IDT) information received from South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. She was instrumental in creating an Intelligence Division at De Beers Head Quarter in Johannesburg and had to liaise with entities such as SAPS Diamond Trafficking Divisions.
