I have been a Senior HR leader in various organisations for the past 20 years. In the different roles as HR leader, I have been responsible to ensure that the organisation have the right talent through a variety of strategies, i.e. recruitment, staff development and internships. Furthermore, I have been responsible for the full end-to-end HR services ranging from payroll, training and development, performance management, employee engagement. As the Head of HR and employee engagement, I have been responsible to develop appropriate HR strategies that are aligned to the various organisation's overall strategies and to ensure the implementation of all people management strategies and processes through the development of an HR team that supports the organisation as well as personally providing support to the executive and management teams. I am suitably qualified as I have completed an MBA, an honours degree in Organisational Psychology, an Advanced Diploma in Institutional Development and Organisational Development. The advanced Diploma in Institutional Development was focused on developing capacity within the NGO sector. In all my roles I have shown a high degree of personal responsibility, I am known to take initiative and drive organisational projects and have shown achievable results in managing the HR function. In one of my recent roles as Group Executive Human Capital in the South Africa Post Office, I crafted a new HR strategy, recruited and placed an Executive team, the embedded a new performance management culture, without external resources and limited finances within 18 months.
