Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter with regards to my application for the Nursing Position advertised on your website I believe that my Qualification and experience makes me the ideal candidate for the position. I have a Diploma in Nursing and a post graduate diploma in nursing management and Leadership. I also have 6 year’s proven experience effectively in ICU and a 2 year’s proven experience in Psychiatric and medical ward. I have very good and extensive knowledge in nursing the elderly. I am extremely organized, Calm and strive very well under pressure. My motto is not to disappoint my employer. I have extreme passion for providing quality care to my patients. In my present role as a shift leader day duty in Jacaranda Hospital Pretoria. I am tasked to evaluate the medical conditions of 35 patients daily. I work in a medical/depression department where we have 35 beds . I am in-charge of administering oral medications and injections to the patients without supervision. I work hand in hand with the doctors. I am also allowed to give recommendations if a patient is responding well to treatment. I do all assessment and evaluation of these patients on a daily basis. During the management of these patients, I have been able to learn the importance of team work, I promote team work, I respect diversity, I have acquired leadership and management roles extensively. Additionally, in my previous work as a registered nurse in ICU for 6 years. I was giving the opportunity to work with ventilated patients, total management of acute and critical patients. I rotated between medical ICU and Oncology ICU. I learnt to give Chemo therapy and stem-cell transplant. I worked with passion and love. I was commended by the Doctors and Unit manager for my expertise in handling both patients and family members. What makes me different is the passion that I have for my job. I believe that if I am employed in your company, I will be able to exercise my skills to the fullest and at the same time acquire more skill and international knowledge in the process .
