Good day, my name is Chad Cochrane I have a University Degree in Commerce – Supply Chain Management and I have currently completed a 120 Hour TEFL / TESOL course with LEAD Academy which is based in London, England in Teaching English as a foreign language. I have done many other short courses such as First Aid in the workplace, EXCEL Spreadsheets and Leadership. I have worked in the Engineering Field as well Hair & Beauty industry for approximately 6 years of which I headed up Managing 30 staff, Purchasing, Strategic Leadership, Management, Marketing & Training. Pravina’s Hair & Beauty has, to this date, won best Hair & Beauty Salon in KZN for 11 years, respectively. I would like to believe that I played a significant role in that, with managing our flagship stores – Pavilion, Gateway, Galleria, Chatsworth (4 biggest shopping malls in Kwa-Zulu Natal) I have travelled extensively, representing South Africa, in the Global Young Leaders Conference in the United States of America where I met and discussed world issues with people & cultures from all around the world. Other countries I have been to are Germany, Austria, Italy, America, Botswana & Zimbabwe. I believe my time experiencing other countries, cultures and languages will be a great asset in this company as it is international as well. I speak 2 languages – English & Zulu and I am currently studying German at the Deutsch Schule in South Africa to broaden my knowledge of the world and speaking to people abroad. I have also studied music theory & guitar through ABRSM (Royal School of Music) based in the United Kingdom. I write all my own music and poetry showing my aptitude and understanding of being a brand and building a business from the ground up. As my records show, I am adept in many fields. I am highly motivated, creative, and a solution – orientated person who is frequently able to come up with new and innovative approaches to assigned projects and methodologies. On the interpersonal side I have superior written and verbal communication skills. I have written all my songs, poems, books and an employee handbook for staff operations and duties. I am easy going and get along well with anyone. I believe I will make an excellent, creative, and positive contribution to your company. I am able to work under pressure ,have an eye for detail and have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques. At this current moment in time, I am working for two companies with the same owner. Namely, HEAR 24 – An Audiological Practice as well as Audio Medi Hi -Tec (AMHT) – An audiological company distribution rights from Suppliers from Germany, Russia, Italy and Turkey in supplying Audiological Equipment to Government Hospitals and Private Institutions. I hold many job roles in this company such as Digital Marketing, Content Creator, Copywriter, Practice Manager, Customer Support, On the road Marketing, Digital Marketing, HR and Strategy Manager.
