I am a Quantitative Risk Management student with a passion for risk management and how to approach risk using quantitative methods and economic concepts. I was first planned to study engineering, but I found more interest in mathematics during refresher course which was compulsory for all students planning to study any BSc. or Eng. course. After the first 2 years of my degree I found interest in Economics which I took further to complete with my degree. This exposed me to more solutions to handle risk. The four modules in which I found much interest during my degree were Investment Management, Financial Markets, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics. I am currently a final year completing Statistics and Economics and is confident that this graduate program is the best program to gain valuable experience in the profession. I would like to work with colleagues that have a positive energy and is goal orientated as I feel you can only be as good as your work environment. I have a positive mindset with passion for outdoor activities which is my way of finding relaxation. I am a good listener and will speak more once I got to know you. The experience I have accumulated during the jobs I have done the last few years are that you must manage your time well to complete certain tasks before their deadlines. To have empathy and patience with your customers and colleagues are advantageous which can brighten up their day and improve the work environment. When I was a salesman and a pump attendant, I gained a lot of human knowledge and always ensured a customer is satisfied when he or she leaves regardless of whether a product or service was delivered to them.
