I have experience in working as a mechanical engineer in oil, gas, water and power plants in South Africa and Saudi Arabia. I have a B. Sc. In Mechanical Engineering from University of Cape Town and worked as an engineer for over 20 years. I just completed working in Saudi Arabia as a Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) in the Power Generation Division. I believe I bring the broad soft skills that will be required to manage an engineering team. I trust you will find me well spoken, energetic, confident and personable. In most cases technical decisions must be made within the context of larger business constraints. Throughout my career I strive to keep business issues in the forefront, be it in design, project management or administration by allocating resources and priotising projects to meet strategic objectives.
