Occupational Medical Specialist registered with HPCSA as a specialist in occupational medicine. 30 years of mining and large industrial occupational health experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Recently set up 11 Occupational Health Clinics in southern Africa for the University of the Witwatersrand, sponsored by the Global Fund. Currently finishing off writing a Code of Practice for Occupational Lung Disease in mining for AUDA/NEPAD, which will be implemented in 16 SADC countries. Experienced in health impact assessment for large projects (mining, industrial, ports) and writing health management plans to IFC standards.
