I am Currently a Systems Engineer at Kenac Computer Systems. Responsible for providing technical support to various clients in their digital transformation and Datacenter operations. My experience includes deploying, monitoring and maintaining various customer systems including but not limited to server and storage infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization software, enterprise backup and recovery systems and general systems administration work. My experience includes installing, configuring, testing and maintaining systems. I am technically conversant with products such as Lenovo Storage Systems, Intel based servers, IBM WebSphere Application Server Administration, Veeam Availability Suite, VMware ESXi and vCenter, Linux Administration, Windows Server Administration, Kaspersky Endpoint Protection. I’m also technically sound with network configurations and troubleshooting, and systems monitoring. Over the years, I have managed to contribute to the standardisation of operations ensuring that systems’ changes are efficiently tested before going to production. He has also implemented high availability of various infrastructure and systems to reduce downtime. He is proactive in the automation of business processes and general administration tasks to increase systems performance and productivity. I am a holder of a Bachelors in Information Technology with Chinhoyi University of Technology. I also hold other various professional certifications such as TOGAF 9, CCNA, ITIL, LPIC-1. Apart from this, i have various other technical certifications from IBM and Kaspersky. I have experience performing system audits to determine when and where systems need upgrades and then making the upgrades to get the system functioning at full capacity. I also have excellent problem-solving and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to speak in a clear, concise manner and to explain technical matters in a way that non-technical individuals can understand. I can work well as part of a group and follow the lead of others but I’m also self-motivated and able to work alone and meet deadlines. I have excellent organizational skills and can work and stay focused in a fast-paced and stressful environment. The below are some of the key projects I have worked on: Key Projects: 1. Deployment of an enterprise systems monitoring solution for ZB Financial Holdings covering storage systems, critical servers, operating systems and middleware & application. 2. Architecture development and implementations of technology infrastructure to improve HADR posture for the Datacenter environment. 3. Rollout of an Enterprise Content Management system for Kenac Computer Systems. 4. Development of standard operating procedures for Patch Management, Security Management, Systems Backup and Recovery, User Requirements Management among other technical processes within the business. 5. Upgrade of 100+ Windows-based servers from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2012 or better for Kenac Computer Systems. 6. Deployment and configuration of IBM APM and SolarWinds NPM for the Monitoring of Kenac Server and Network Infrastructure 7. Successfully Designed the Deployment Architecture and Deployed the Econet IBP BPM System 8. Deployed and configured the NetOne SolarWinds NPM System for monitoring 9.
