I'm a strong leader and I strive for success in my career. I'm a dedicated employee and I love the construction industry. I enjoy working outdoors and being part of team that is goal orientated. During my career, I have always prioritized my teams safety. I enjoy mentoring my subordinates and supporting my team to ensure that safety on site is the no.1 priority. I enjoy my career in construction. One of the highlights of my career was managing 19 sites with one other colleague. Even though we averaged 4 hours of sleep a night, we managed to ensure that there were no fatalities on any of the 19 sites. During my career, I had the opportunity to work in the DRC, Tenke Fungurume mine. During this contract I learnt about international safety regulations and procedures. It was one of the best contracts that I had in terms of career growth due to the amount of knowledge and skills that I learnt. This contract was phase 2 expansion project of the mine which involved structural steel erection and fabrication. I am a family man who has two stepsons that I have raised with my fiancé for the last 11 years. I assisted in the restitution of their relationship with their dad. It has been some of the most rewarding years of my life.
