Hi there, I am an illustrator / designer and overall creative from South Africa. I graduated from my Visual communication design degree in 2022 ; I majored in illustration and I specifically focused on design that acts as illustration conservation. I create design work that informs and educates about our natural environment; whether this might be touching on endangered animals and how we affect the world around us. Through my illustration and design I have also had the opportunity to create design that is interactive and informative as it teaches young kids and adults about the marine world and its importance. As a designer and creative I have worked across various mediums including; digital illustration, ceramic design, hand-drawn illustration, stop-motion animation, wooden toy-design, textile design and animation. So far I have been able to explore how my design and illustration can create awareness and act as a tool for conservation . I feel that design can, and should be used as a tool for communication. As a designer I’d like to use my design and creativity for a purpose and a function. As a creative I am always open to learning new skills and methods of making.
