I have a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, tax legislation and am intimately familiar with auditing procedures and practices. I am responsible, honest, efficient capable of performing audit from planning to finalisation and have a long history of getting things done whilst working under pressure and to meet deadlines. I also have well-developed verbal as well as written communication skills, also able to present information and compile reports of audit results to manager, partner and directors. I am extremely computer literate and have extensive experience with Teammate (audit software in public sectors) as well as Caseware audit software, utilised by significant numberof audit firm in private sector. In my experience with various industries in private business I have had the opportunity to familiarize myself with a variety of accounting packages to extract/output accounting records/data. Also weakness identified in controls and provide recommendation to business owner for effective operation. My previous position in Government sector provided me with opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in PFMA, MFMA act and Internal control procedure which was core duty allocated to me to attain positive audit outcome for the Department of Culture, Arts and Traditional Affairs.
