Eng. Mukobe Jacob is a highly skilled Senior Registered Engineer in Uganda, with 21 years’ experience of Practical and Consultancy Engineering working experience. He has worked and managed several Consultancy assignments from Feasibility, design and construction supervision of Water Supply and Sanitation projects for Uganda Government, through the Ministry of Water and Environment and institutions called National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Kampala City Council. Started working as a Technician, Engineer, Resident Engineer and Project Manager / Team leader; holds a Diploma in Water Engineering (1999); Higher Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering (2003) and B.Eng degree in Building and Civil engineering (2009); Master of Science Construction Technology and Management of Kyambogo University, August( 2019) to date and his vast experience, He has a full understanding of the full life cycle of Water and Sanitation projects. He provides exceptional and tailor-made contributions to the success of any Project for his clients, Donor Partners, such as the World Bank/IFC/WSP, KfW, AfDB, BADEA, AfD, BTC(Enabel), USAID), and beneficiary Stakeholders. Jacob has a very good understanding of urban and Rural infrastructure, feasibility studies and detailed design, costing, tender document preparation and is familiar with FIDIC / PRAG / EBRD procurement procedures, construction supervision; Management of Infrastructure, including billing and Revenue collection and Operation and Maintenance of the facilities. He also has excellent experience in Capacity Building and Training, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), Community mobilisation, and used Training tools for Structuring and Management of Seminars, Workshops and large meetings. He is very skilled and has a wealth of experience in Field Survey such as, office-based Engineering design work, Computer analysis and Report preparation for the Feasibility, preliminary design and detailing of Civil, Water supply and Sanitation facilities, field works for Design works, community mobilization, Construction supervision of Infrastructure, and all auxiliary works, including Quantity surveys and estimating and field based back up for Design and Construction teams. He is knowledgeable in Construction contracts and procedures, pricing and Project management.
