After matriculating at Tygerberg College I completed my National Diploma in Office Management and Technology at CPUT and majored in Business Administration. My first position in the line of HR was at Emmanuels Recruitment Agency as an administration assistant and later progressed to a recruitment consultant. I enjoyed working in a team and was given the opportunity to head up recruitment projects as a senior recruitment consultant. This privilege gave me working exposure on both local and international accounts within the business which was very challenging but also very enjoyable. I was subsequently successful with my application for a position as a Perm Consultant and there I faced more challenges and responsibilities. After 5 years in recruitment I decided to venture into a new role and this is where was working as an Account Manager/HR Consultant at one of our international call centre clients, managing between 350-450 staff. This position allowed me the opportunity to hone my skills in a more senior capacity by continuously developing my interpersonal skills during my liaison with staff and clients on a daily basis. I am currently working for Merchants SA (Division of Dimension Data) as an HR Officer since 01 November 2013 to 14 October 2015. Due to our client (ASDA) unfortunately moving back to the UK I ventured into a new opportunity within a global online gambling company called Digi Outsource Services since 15 October 2015, as an HR Business Partner. In my role as Account manager, HR officer and HR Business Partner, time management and prioritisation are vital, as many simultaneous problemsolving and multi tasking incidents need to be managed to meet both the clients and business needs. This is a constant challenge and as a result I have learned a lot during this period. I am passionate in my role, dedicated to company goals and my many years of service testify of my loyalty. I do believe that with all the above experience, I could add value to your business.
