I have more than 20 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, both at a tactical implementation level as well as at strategic execution level. In the past 10years, my primary accountability has been in leading a team of HR Business Partners in supporting the business to formulate aligned people management strategies to ensure operational productivity and sustainable people management practices I have strong experience in forming collaborative partnerships across diverse groups to enable the delivery of business-appropriate solutions. Leveraging the strengths of the team and ensuring the appropriate balance between organisational priorities and individual career aspirations is a personal passion and a skill that I continue to nurture and grow in my ongoing leadership role. Customisation and alignment of processes and practices within the context of the structured governance frameworks is a particular ability that I have honed, particularly during my tenure at the South African Revenue Services I have a strong grounding in the area of Human Resources as my primary area of professional development. My role as an HR Business Partner in the SARS environment has necessitated that I quickly get to grips with the business priorities and leverage the principles of my professional training to support business success. My exposure and direct involvement in the organisational wide modernization processes from a change management and people impact perspective has provided me with a sound understanding in identifying the fundamental shifts required in the business and the associated organisational development and change strategies required. My professional work experience both in the public and private sector has afforded me the opportunity to develop strong relationship building and partnership skills that serve the furthering Organisational goals.
