I started my career in HR as a Management Trainee with a leading Gold Mining Company in 1998 and was appointed SHRO in 1999. From 2002 to 2012 I held the positions HR Manager Projects: Training & Development/Mining Rights Conversion - Social & Labour Plans and HR Manager Operations (MANCO) in the gold mining sector. Notwithstanding a myriad of certificates I obtained during the course of my in-service training, I hold a BSocSc degree with majors in Industrial Psychology & Philosophy (1997). I successfully completed the Management Advancement Programme (NQF8) at WBS (2000) and pursued the MBA (WBS). I was accredited as an HR Generalist by the SABPP Reg. No.: 6507 in 2007. I have 14 years operational HR management experience and have practiced as an Independent Management Consultant since 2013, with particular focus on Labour Relations, Change Management, Performance Management, Organisational & Skills Development and Behavioural Safety.
